Mastercard launches “Agent Pay for Machines” to let AI agents pay each other. Permissions are stored on blockchains like Polygon, Solana. Adyen, Coinbase, Cloudflare partner. Lambert says not huge revenue next year but a market in 5 years. Visa, Stripe also in agentic finance. Agentic payments are small now but bots may pay bots. AI chatbots could be in e-commerce. Other firms like Coinbase, Stripe, Google have AI payment networks.
